Women Car Rally - 2013

We are once again organizing a Women Car Rally with its 5th edition
from New Delhi - Rishikesh on March 29 - 31, 2013

The Rally is a Time Speed Distance (TSD) event that comprises a set of instructions specifying a route to travel, and a speed at which to travel (the speed will not be much and would not exceed the maximum permissible speed for that road).

A team, consisting of a driver and a navigator, (driver has to be a woman) attempts to travel the specified route at exactly the specified speeds.

It will not be a race. Traveling too fast results in penalties as does traveling too slowly. Arriving too early at a check point hurts the team's score, as does arriving too late.

The team is scored on how closely to the correct time they arrive.

I mentioned the same to Umesh and he suggested to check Facebook if we can get his contact number. We found his number, spoke to him and he made himself available completely for the cause of Rallying as well as Breast Cancer Awareness.
